For those of you who have known me for a while, you know that when I lived in the glorious city of Pittsburgh, it was rare to see me dressed down or in my comfies- yes, even while running errands. I was usually always adorned with big statement accessories, heels of some form or another and usually a leather jacket. (Let’s be real, I still am, 90% of the time). I really can’t explain why I was always dressed to the nines while walking down the grocery aisles, but now that I’ve moved back to my hometown of Erie, I’m a bit more understated when it comes to the 10% of the time- running errands. I’m casual, with get the job done comfortable shoes for lots of fast walking, lol all while staying stylish, of course!! There are places to be, meals to be cooked and things to do, after all! Working in yoga pants and a sweatshirt is a luxury we all deserve to have once in a while!

Who said {winter} boots couldn’t be fashionable?! I received these Sperry Saltwater Duck boots as a Christmas gift, thanks mom, and they are now pretty much my every day shoe. Snow happens in Erie, a lot, and the past few days we’ve had quite a bit of flurried snowflake activity. They are super warm and cozy inside, high enough on my leg to keep my feet dry while tromping through snow mounds and are the perfect blend of material to where water (melted snow) wicks right off! The traction on the sole keeps slipping at bay and how stunning is this color combo?! They come in SO MANY different colors!!! I’m wearing the oyster/oat color in a size 8. They’re true to size.

They’re stylish, sleek, and pair well with just about anything (especially your favorite skinny jeans or leggings). Here’s my every day errand look with staple pieces and my current favs. Moto leggings (a huge fashion trend right now)- these are an awesome piece I purchased from amazon practically identical to the Spanx moto leggings, saving you $70 with my find! They’re true to size, I’m wearing a small. My Sherpa pullover is a must this winter and was $17 at Walmart.com. What a steal! It comes in a handful of different colors and are true to size. I’m wearing a small in the apricot color. They’ve also been featured on my 30 under $30; Women’s Gift Guide post, here!
Share with me some of your favorite “errand-running” casual wear or your favorite boots for the winter months! You know me, lover of all things fashion and trends! Happy shopping loves!
