Why Celery Juice?
My story- I personally suffer from a few health concerns- I have the most sensitive skin and am basically allergic to everything, but also have low energy, eczema on my legs, am prone to stomach ulcers, digestive issues and the occasional hormonal breakout, for starters. Celery juice is a powerful and miraculous healing remedy that has countless known benefits, such as clearer skin, improved digestion, less bloating, sustained energy, better mental clarity, weight loss, and stable moods, just to name a few. Adding something so simple to my every day routine was a no brainer for me. Jamie does it with me every morning too!
It’s helps with the healing of Chronic Illness including:
aches and pains
chronic fatigue syndrome
blood sugar issues
high blood pressure
and countless others
The reason we juice the celery versus eating it is because juicing and removing the pulp (fiber) is the only way to get the powerful healing benefits for healing chronic illness. Eating celery itself is helpful, but you will not be able to consume enough celery to get the benefits of juicing it. Celery juice works best on it’s own. Adding any other ingredients to the juice will dilute it’s medicinal properties.
What is the ideal amount of celery juice to receive the healing benefits?
16 ounces of straight celery juice a day is ideal for receiving its healing benefits. Increasing your intake up to 24 to 32 ounces a day can be extremely beneficial for anyone suffering with chronic illness or symptoms.
The best time to drink celery juice is in the morning on an empty stomach before you consume anything else other than water.
Note: Celery juice powder and Celery powder can’t replace fresh celery juice. Celery juice powder and celery powder don’t offer any of the benefits that 16 ounces of fresh straight celery juice can.
Safe while pregnant/ Kids Safe?
According to the Medical Medium….Yes, celery juice is safe and healthy to consume while pregnant. If you have any concerns, you can consult your doctor. In addition, celery juice is incredible for the health and development of babies and children.
• 1-2 heads of celery (1 large bunch is 16oz- it does not have to be organic)
• Rinse the celery, cut off the rooted end (I leave the leaves on) and run it through a juicer. Drink immediately for best results.
• We make ours the night before right before bed, seal it in a mason jar and put it in the fridge to keep all the benefits inside
• DO NOT add anything to it- spices, lemon, ice, water, etc. it will react with the celery’s cluster salts and not give you the intended benefits.
• Alternatively, you can chop the celery and blend it in a high-speed blender until smooth. Strain well and drink. (This took me forever and I really wouldn’t recommend)
What Juicer do I use?
I use the Mueller Juicer– less than $70, takes up minimal space and is easy to clean, take a part and assemble!
